Continuous Compliance Monitoring  - Beta Release

We just released a beta version of our new continuous compliance monitoring solution. It enables you to automatically collect evidence and re-scan anything that is out of date, so you can always know your compliance status.

Audit Scan provides the ability to evaluate controls to help determine their operating effectiveness, but until now there wasn’t a great place to see a consolidated set of latest results and which results are out of date. In addition, evidence is currently only collected once a week by default.

Introducing Continuous Compliance Monitoring: a new feature that collects the latest automated evidence on a schedule you set and runs audit scans on any out-of-date items that need a new control check.

We’ve released this as a beta feature for all Trustero customers to use immediately. If you see any issues with it, please let us know.

Vertical AI applications are still in their early stages and we're all waiting to see which industry and its practitioners will be the first to leverage AI applications to make truly significant strides in their field. We are confident that the next field to rocket ahead from AI will be GRC. Continuous Compliance Monitoring is the most impactful version of this yet.

Most Critical Items: Dashboard

The new control checks portion of the dashboard highlights the most critical items: failed control checks + outdated results.

Details: Controls Page

You can now see the most recent control check results for all controls and whether they are outdated on the new “smart checks” view on the controls page.

Schedule Your Scans

Now you don’t have to worry about missing issues with your controls. You can now opt in to collecting new evidence and conducting control checks on outdated results automatically. You can change the schedule via the link on the control checks dashboard or via the settings page.

Goodbye to Old Tests

We are also retiring our old control tests feature. We had a limited number of automated tests for things like MFA being enabled. With audit scan + continuous monitoring being in place, those tests are no longer needed and will be removed. You won’t see the “tests” tab on controls, failed test results on the dashboard or failed tests in weekly emails. You will get emails about failed control checks instead.

Try It

To try out the continuous compliance monitoring, navigate to either:

  • Home -> Dashboard
  • Content -> Controls and select the “Smart Checks” toggle.
