Trustero now has a demo account (note: now linked to latest account as of 2024-12-19) that is available for all customers. It demonstrates what a typical SMB SaaS company would do to “walk the walk” on each of our curated SOC 2 security controls.
While operationalizing controls it can be helpful to see examples of what good looks like: the right kind of evidence, right kind of test procedures, example disaster recovery plans, architecture diagrams, etc.
The example account is fully functional, but read-only to you (you don’t have to worry about messing anything up). You can check out all of the controls, policies, evidence, etc. to see the simplest example of how to get a control to full operating effectiveness. All steps of the compliance roadmap are complete and all audit scan checks should be passing.
Larger organizations often have more complex environments with more demanding evidence requirements than what is shown in this demo, but these simple examples will often scale up, with little modification, saving bigger organizations time and money as they get all of their controls to green.
