GRC Terminology Changes and Interface Updates

Written by Nick Martin | Jan 8, 2025 7:17:40 PM

The Trustero platform has features that customers rely on to do critical GRC tasks, like evaluate controls’ operating effectiveness or summarize a SOC 2 report, however, the names of those features didn’t always make it crystal clear what they were doing. As a result, sometimes these features weren’t used to their full potential. To ensure these features provide as much value as possible, the Trustero platform now uses names that correspond to the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) terminology GRC pros are used to. Goodbye “spot check,” hello “Operating Effectiveness Check.”

In addition to the name changes, we’ve also updated a few items to better reflect the compliance workflow and journey. As a result, we’ve updated the navigation bar and the compliance roadmap.
